European Code to good practice for the collection, transport, storage, trading and industrial manufacture of safe feed/food ingredients. The aim of the EFISC-GTP code is to ensure the safety for the collection, transport, storage and trading of feed/food ingredients.

About the certification
The European Feed and Food Ingredient Safety Certification Aisbl (EFISC-GTP) is the result of the certification schemes EFISC and GTP joining forces, with the support of the European feed/food ingredient sector organisations COCERAL, FEDIOL, Starch Europe, EBB and Euromalt.
EFISC-GTP code
The EFISC-GTP certification schemes cover the collection, transport, storage and trading of safe feed and food ingredients. The EFISC-GTP schemes provide guidance to traders, transporters, storage keepers, collectors and manufacturers on how to establish and implement their own feed/food safety management system in accordance with the relevant EU and National legislation. The EFISC-GTP schemes include requirements for the management system, (operational) prerequisite programmes, risk control (hazard analysis critical control points), documentation, withdrawal and traceability. An optional module is available for the purchase of certified sustainable feed material (for example soybean, soybean by-products).
