ISO 45001 – Healthy and safe work practices
Since 2018, the OHSAS 18001 has been replaced by the ISO 45001 Management Systems for Healthy and Safe Working (G&SW). With the introduction of the ISO 45001, the term “occupational health and safety” has been replaced by G&VW. The standard can be applied to all companies.

About the certification
Within an organization, the health of employees is affected in various ways. These include machine safety, physical strain, psychosocial workload (PSA) and physical conditions. This results in risks and hazards for employees. With a G&VW management system, these hazards and risks are identified and evaluated. And measures are taken to reduce these risks and hazards.
G&VW management system
As with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the basis of the G&VW management system is the “plan-do-check-act” cycle (PDCA). In ISO 14001, both the execution cycle and the management system have requirements for the continuous improvement of G&VW performance, control of G&VW risks, compliance with applicable health and safety laws and regulations and other requirements.
