Quality management system

Control Union Certifications has implemented a robust Quality Management System, that secures the independence of our staff involved in certification decisions. All staff involved in certification have received training in the system. Our quality management system regulates how certification programs are carried out by our staff.

It is based on the principles of accreditation and is reviewed by Control Union Certifications’ advisory council, which consists of representatives from farmers, processors and consumers. The council advises the Control Union Certifications’ management team on the quality management system, ensuring that certification decisions are taken independently with respect to existing rules and the rights of the customers.
